I'm left with another few more months to decide on which primary school to send Travis to...
So far, I'm looking at either Rosyth or Jingshan...

Which mother doesn't want the best for their children?
I want Travis to be in a good school so he can have a more 'secure' future.
I understand u might find it absurd...
What does school have to do with secured future???
Well, better education, better grades, better job next time...
More money = better life

I hope things are this easy...
But the real world is not easy to comprehand.

All I can do (to help) is to let them have a stronger foundation..
At least with a better education, the higher the chances they will have a better future.

I'm now looking for a home tutor for Travis.
Hopefully he can be better prepared for Primary school education.

The application for NTUC funding (for my course) have been approved.
Class will commence on 5 Jan 2009.
I will be going down to make payment on Wednesday tgt with my sis
as she will help to pay my fees and I will return to her when I got my paycheck.

Am now reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
What's written in this book set me thinking..
How do I get out of the "Rat Race"???
It's easy to understand what the writer is trying to say..
But to actually do it is not easy..

The difference between asset and liability,
given my intelligence,
it might take me a long time to figure it out. :

You know what???
I'm constantly thinking of the 'Twilight Saga'.
I really wanna own this set of books...
I want! I want! I want!!!!

Had a very Merry Christmas with Ghim, Shenice & Hubby.
I made some spaghetti and we had some liquor at my hse last night
before we peoceed to K-Box for our singing session.
Dunno if it's due to the spaghetti or the liquor,
we couldn't 'perform' our best during the session..
~Spoil~

Ghim bought a cake from Breadtalk upon Shenice's request.
Shenice did not tell him which design she wanted,
but he bought exactly the one Shenice had wanted..
And she was over the moon!!!

We sang all the way till 4am.
And then we parted..
It was really fun!!!!

Being where u are doesn't really matter as long as the company is right

The company I had last night ROKX!!!!!

The Great Depression II..

Christmas eve, worked half day & am home now slacking.
Hubby showed me some clips from Youtube on Jeff Dunham,
The Ventriloquist.
I almost roll off my bed laughing as
I watch the show by him & his 'old friend' - Walter
Come home after a hard day's work,
the only way to make me forget my unhappiness,
beside my 3 precious, there's now Jeff Dunham & Walter,
Achmed, Peanut, Melvin & Hosei.

Quite a few things to post but once the 'create posting' page load up,

Everything gone out to the window again....

Hubby just bought an iPhone last Saturday..
I was quite turn off by the specs initially..
I mean, the specs really sucks,
and it's like so troublesome just using it...
But when we reach home and hubby showed me some of the functions,
I suddenly find that it's actually quite a good buy.

We paid $140 for it (inclusive of the leather pouch)
Though it's camera is not really gd,
and sms-ing can sometimes seems like a chore,
but I can go online with this phone.
The screen is big...
And can also be used as iPod.
So spending $140, and take it that you're buying an iPod..
I think that justify the price.

Me and hubby had stomach flu.
But poor hubby, though his condition is like 10 times worse than me,
but he still have to go to work while I took MC and stay at home to rest.

We met Mel, Chan & Amanda for supper last night.
Went to Casuarina for prata before we head down
to Liquid Kitchen(S'goon garden) for a drink.
Amanda intro a new book to me - The Twilight Saga
It's been made into movie and is showing now..
I dunno if it's true, but I think I'll go find out.
I asked her to borrow the book to me since she said she have it...
I wonder when will she pass it to me.. -_-?

I have always feel a little guilty towards Travis.
He should have a better childhood..
But because I couldn't afford more,
he gotta make do with what's given to him...

This feeling has been with me for many many years...
And it worsen as Rhys came along...

I have to admit to myself,
(though I hate to)
that I love Travis more than the others...

I hate practicing favoritism.
But I can't deny that I'm practicing it.
Even though the punishments and rewards meted out are the same to all..
But the feelings in the heart are different...
('Though I love them all the same)

Hubby told me something just now when we're taking a 'break'
We were talking about the MTV of 'Hot & Cold'.
It's about this guy who can't make up his mind during solemnization.
After dear describe how's the MTV is like,
I ask him a stupid Qs.

I ask him what he felt when we were having out solemnization,
at the time he was about to say "I Do".

So he told me how he felt.. And more~

He said that he find it all worthwhile spending all these years
tgt with me, building up a family.
He was smiling as he said these to me..

Though he always 'kena' scolded by me..
Though I'm always so unreasonable..
Thoough I always scream & shout at him....

But he find it all worthwhile..

You know how I feel inside??
I was touched... So very touched...

Went shopping again today.
But didnt spent too much...
Bought a shirt for my little nephew..
And a pair of Jeans for my Baby Rhys.
You know how much it cost altogether???
It only cost $13!!!!!

It's a bargain right?!

That shop sells children's apparels mainly from PUMA.
But they also have others from some other brands...
I saw a Jacket from PUMA.
It cost only $25.
Too bad, they didn't have my size..

Am really happy today.
Molly decided to open up the hampers we received
to cut down on the items we have to move over to our new building.

I got a packet of Chocolate in cute Christmas design
and a bottle of Brandy in the special Eiffel Tower packaging.
Normally, items like this will only be given to Managers.
But the Boss is not around,
so Molly just gave it to me..

I was really over the moon....
Smiling all the way from the store room (where i place all the other Alcoholic drinks)
back to my seat.
My colleague thought I was crazy smiling to myself.
Haha!

Went Vivo with my dearie and Ghim today.

We stayed at Vivo for less than an hour.

This is my 3rd time there.

The first time with Sheryl when it was just open.

2nd time was when I was going over to Sentosa

for my Co's Family Day.

And today is the 3rd time.

I feel that Vivo is not a very nice place to shop..

There were just too many ppl there.

Every shop was packed with shoppers..

Took a pic near the Christmas tree at the 1st storey

with hubby before we left for Dhoby Gaut.

At least I dun look like a ghost here..

We had a very late lunch at PS.
We went to Hot Tomatoes.
I had Mixed Grill.
Ghim had American Stew Beef.
And dearie had some pasta.
Forgotten what pasta he had..
Was it Carabana???

We then went back to AMK Hub as
dearie and Ghim wanted to go Funz Centre to buy L4D.
A PC game with lotsa Zombies..
Eeekzzz~
Not the kind that I would play..

The time they spent at Funz Centre,
I spent it at Tens Toes shopping for shoes.
I saw one I really like and decided to get it
as my 'new year shoes'.

I have terribly overspent this month.
Have to really curb my spending habit starting from next pay.
Gotta learn how to save save save.

My kids are growing older.
The amount of money spend on them will only increase.
Living standard in Singapore are getting higher by the day.
And it's recession period now.
I'm really scared the 'axe' might wield anytime...

Just booked a chalet online for my boy's first bday.
Thanks to G that I'm paying less than 1/2 of what others are paying
for that chalet.
And earlier than it should be to book.

Looking forward to my boy's bday.
He's a big boy now.
Am really amazed on how time flies....
It seems like yesterday when I had Travis
and now I'm already a mother of 3...

Festive seasons round the corner..
Pockets' gonna burn a big big hole..
Doesn't seem like the correct time to spend $$$ on chalet..
But.......
Well......
It's his first..
Both his bro have got celebrations on their first bday,
I should at least be fair to him...

Note that the key word here is 'fair'...
