A woman within an ideal pre-pregnant body weight will gain about 10 to 17 kilograms during a healthy pregnancy. Amazingly, the baby only accounts for about one-fifth of the total weight (3 to 4 pounds only).

Most women lose about 5 kilograms during labor and delivery, from the weight of the baby, placenta and amniotic fluid. During the first week after delivery, women lose the additional weight of retained fluids. It is the stored fat that is the hardest to get rid of and the last to leave.

Where does the weight go? 2-3 kg of maternal stores (fat, protein, other nutrients), 1-1.5kg of increased fluid volume, 1.5-4kg of increased blood volume, 0.5-1kg of breast enlargement, 1kg of enlarging uterus, 3-4kg of baby, 1kg of amniotic fluid and 0.75kg of placenta.

Baby~
Doc says that the baby is in position already
the head is already down, ready to come into this world.

Went to see doc 2 days back.
Baby was about 35wks 6 days
& you guess the weight?
3060g = 3.06kg
OMG~~
I almost fainted!!
The baby is so big!
Doc says that by the time it's due,
it would weigh at least 3.4kg, no less!

I can feel the baby ~wiggling~
Like it's very anxious to come out..
I'm scared man!!!
I'm still working now...
I dun wanna be in labour when I'm in office!!!!

Work~
I just got to know today that 'Hello Kitty' is now an EO.
(something like a supervisor)
We're of the same age.
She's a diploma holder, while I dun even have an o level cert.
This is really a motivation, man!!!
A wake up call!!!
Telling me i got no more time to waste!!!

The Real You

Stress!!

The pressure seems to add on rapidly as my due date drew nearer.
I feel so stress!
For money, for my health and for another new member in the family.

I can feel my health deteriorating.
My hands feeling numb all the time.
Pain at the side of my hips when i try to stand up from my sit.
Water retention is bad.
My leg is so swollen that it looks just like pig trotter.
I feel so heavy. I can't even move properly!

As usual, I've put on more than 20kg of weight during my whole pregnancy.
Wonder how long will it take me to lose all those extra pounds after
the baby is out.

Feeling so stress everyday! ! !

I fall in love with this bag. How i wish i have the money to buy it.... =(

The design is so simple that it goes well with all sort of dressing.

Mother in Law came into the room when i was browsing through Dior website just now. Sje asked which is the one i like. And i told her this is the one... *How i wish she'll buy it for me!!!*
But i guess it's quite impossible. It's too expensive..

Ask dear dear to buy for me?
All the more impossible!!!!!!!
